Yahoo Spam Folder Not Showing Emails

Checked my Yahoo inbox, but emails that should be in the spam folder aren’t showing up. Tried refreshing and switching devices, but the folder looks empty even though I know messages should be there. Wondering if this is a common issue or if spam filters sometimes delete messages automatically before they appear.

Hello! A while back, I was expecting an important email that never arrived. Checked every folder, but spam was completely empty, which seemed odd. Read through https://yahoo.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html to see if this was common. Turns out, some messages get filtered out before they even reach the spam folder, especially if Yahoo’s system marks them as high-risk. Adjusting the filter settings helped, and emails started coming through again without disappearing.
