Slayer Locked Released Feb 1st (NEW GAME MODE), Talent Trees, Custom Raids, GIM, Coll Log, RuneLite - Best Ironman Experience

## About

August is a free-to-play custom RuneScape private server, played through a standalone launcher rather than a browser client. It comes as a Windows installer or a universal jar for Windows, macOS and Linux, with Java bundled, and the launcher keeps the client up to date. Worlds run in the US, EU and Oceania.

Progression is built around a custom talent tree that lets you choose how your character develops, combined with a choice of game modes. Other custom content includes the Olympian Raids, a boss line built around Greek gods such as Apollo, Poseidon and Hephaestus.

- A custom talent tree with several game modes
- Custom Olympian Raids against Greek-mythology bosses
- Seven ironman account types, including standard, hardcore, ultimate and permadeath hardcore, plus three group ironman variants
- A voting system that rewards players for supporting the server
- A prestige system for players who keep progressing after the top

Updates, announcements and community discussion happen on the official Discord, and newcomers can use the wiki, written by players and staff, for guides, skills, shops and the rules.
