An ironman account is self-sufficient: no trading with other players, no market, and no loot from other players' kills. Everything you own, you gathered, made or earned yourself. Servers on this list offer one or more ironman modes. Common variants include hardcore ironman, which loses its status on death, ultimate ironman, which can't use a bank, and group ironman, where a small team shares its progress.

Can an ironman trade? No, that's the point of the mode. Group ironmen can usually trade within their group only.
Can I stop being an ironman later? On many servers, yes, but the rules differ. Check before you start.
Does every server offer hardcore and ultimate? No. Check the listing or the server's website for the modes it has.
