What is a PvM RSPS?

PvM means player versus monster: fighting bosses, running raids, doing slayer tasks and working your way up through better gear from the drops. PvM servers put that at the centre. On OSRS-based servers that usually means the familiar bosses and raids, often with boosted drop rates, and sometimes custom bosses of the server's own.

Who it suits

Players who enjoy learning boss mechanics, chasing rare drops and pets, and slowly improving their setup. Also groups who want to raid together without the long grind of the official game.

What to look for

Which bosses and raids work, and how faithful their mechanics are. Drop rates and any boosts. Slayer and its rewards. Whether there are enough players for group content at your hours. Whether the best gear comes from drops or from the server's store.

How this list is ranked

By votes cast this month. Anyone can vote for a server once every 12 hours, for free and without an account, and the ranking starts over on the 1st. Votes can't be bought, and ads never move a server up the list.

Frequently asked questions

Do PvM servers have raids? Many do, but not all. Check the listing's description for the raids it supports.

Can I do bosses solo? Most bosses, yes. Raids and some group bosses work best with others, so check how active the server is.

Are drop rates the same as in OSRS? Usually higher, and they vary a lot between servers. Some also sell drop-rate boosts, so check the store.

Where do I start with bossing? The TzHaar Fight Cave is a classic first bossing test in Old School RuneScape; our Fight Cave guide covers the stats, gear, monsters and waves.
