I used Nextdoor mostly to keep up with local alerts and neighborhood updates, but one day I logged in and found my account was disabled without any explanation. I submitted a support request through their site, but haven’t heard back at all. No email, no details, just locked out. I’m not sure if it was a glitch or if something triggered it. Has anyone here had a disabled account before? What actually got it reviewed or reopened?

My profile suddenly disappeared without warning, and everything I’d posted or replied to in my neighborhood thread was gone too. I couldn’t get through to anyone on their help form, so I checked out https://nextdoor.pissedconsumer.com/review.html where others were describing nearly the same thing—accounts closed with no explanation and silence from support. Based on what I saw there, I wrote a short message including my username and the date it was disabled, then followed up again through their form a couple days later. This time I did get a response asking to confirm some info, and the account was restored after that. It didn’t move fast, but being persistent and mentioning it publicly seemed to help.
