CenterPoint Energy inquiry form ignored

I submitted a request through CenterPoint Energy’s online customer service page asking why my recent bill jumped significantly compared to last month. I included my account number and the specific dates in question, but even after more than a week, I’ve received no acknowledgment by email or portal update. I also tried their contact number but just hit a voicemail loop. Has anyone used that form and actually gotten a helpful response? I’d love to know what sparked firm contact.

When I dealt with a billing issue like that, I reached out using the online form and didn’t hear anything either. After a few days passed, I searched around and used the CenterPoint Energy phone number that was shared on a consumer forum. Instead of repeating the full problem, I opened the call by calmly stating that I’d already submitted a form and was now trying to confirm it was received. That approach led to an agent pulling up my file and walking me through a meter reading that explained the higher total. It wasn’t instant, but being persistent and tying it back to the previous request helped shift things forward.
