Cywir NXT traces its origins to the RuneScape 3 Build 830 era in 2016.

The project was formally established in 2019 and remained in active development through 2022 before entering a temporary hiatus. Development has since resumed with a renewed focus on modern RuneScape 3, including the reconstruction and refinement of its underlying framework to support modern content, combat and PvM systems.

The objective is straightforward:

Modern RS3.
Long-term development.
No shortcuts.
